Hi all

Hope everyone is having a good week so far...

I'm finding that I'm getting more and more moments of confusion or completely forgetting something. Usually things that I would just know straight away... gone!! Can't find the answer in my brain at all...

I haven't changed meds, so can't think (ironically) why this is happening more and more often!!

Its affecting me a lot know.. forgetting pill, times, to eat.. what I was saying.. what I wanted to say!!

It is taking me a lot longer to process information too.. work emails and meetings are confusing me.. normally I'm ok with fast pace emails but I seem to be getting slower and slower!!

Any recommendations? Advice? All welcome!!

I hope the above makes sense lol I'm sure some of you will decipher the rambling.

Love to you all xx

Fibro fog affects most of us at some time or other. I treat it with humour - the only way for me to get through it. Scary at first it is now just part of me and those who know me treat it with humour too. I've done some crazy things like driving into a driveway and sat in the car wondering who had painted my house pink. I had in fact driven down the road two streets away from my house and driven into someone else's driveway. Oops. I've told my colleagues I was going to a wedding instead of going to lunch - they laughed and said they didn't think much of my outfit. Try and embrace it - honestly it won't last forever there will be better days.

Hiya

I reached the point you have described and now getting worse, I had no choice but to give up work, having done this resulted in less muscle pain but more brain fog 🤯 I no longer recognise myself when I looked the mirror, I see a broken woman in pain agonies, find it hard to type 😂

Wish peace for all of us ⚖️🤞🌹

Hi

Yes, I'm the same but I do try to laugh it off but it does get me down at times. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx

Have you been on the same meds for a while? Maybe time for a change?

You're not alone! I hope you sort it out

At Christmas time my family really started to worry about my confusion, I was to confused to worry. They made me go to docs who gave me vitamin B12. It's definitely helped.

I'm still foggy but I don't feel like I have dementia anymore

Yes, just to say I was having problem remembering and getting more dizzy....had tried all sorts of drug changes ( as well as fibro, have Hashimoto’s, hypothyroidism, insulin dependent diabetes, and chronic spine problems)... also having upped my vitamin and mineral supplements, thought the only thing left to try was b12 injections. This has improved, tho not cured, problems...my forgetting names and vocabulary for everyday objects etc remains, but more capable of doing tasks like following a recipe!

I hear you! Mine is so bad I forgot what I ate for tea 2 hours after, thrown an important appointment letter in the bin and not remembered I’d even done it! Mixed up hospital appointment times so I mix up the transport bookings, forgotrwn friends names I’ve known for years all the time. Forgotten what my son told me just hours after and now he’s noticing which hurts. I can’t stand the fact that my sons are seeing me like this it’s horrible! Brain fog is an understatement with me 🙄

Has anyone else had gone motor skill issues like buttons, picking things up, I’m not sure if its the fibro or my spinal compression 😬 x
