How on earth!
My worst fibromyalgia symptoms are my shoulders and wrists, I use heat wraps and massage. I’ve recently broken my leg and am finding it almost impossible to non weight bear, my forearms and wrists are throbbing, my shoulder is too painful to lie on. Any tips? I just have such poor upper body strength I’m totally exhausted and in pain
Hi! Sorry sorry to hear about your leg but when my shoulders are hurting bad I sometimes wear a back belt I don’t quite understand why it works but it helps me. I’m guessing it supported them etc, just something to try hope this helps xx
Hi hun,I wonder if your shoulders are bone structure pain like mine..I have bursitis and calcified tendonitis in the other,,I see an orthopaedic surgeon who injected a steroid which really does relieve and settle,,he also sees me 6 monthly,,I see him again next month and one shoulder needs a top up.. In between I buy over the counter ibuprofen
I'm the same shoulder arm elbow wrist and hands.doctor wants to put me on gabentien but I don't y heard that many bad reports about it

I was put on gabapentin , no side effects but didn't work for me and neither did pregabalin. I know it has worked for many of our friends on here. Take care Lynne
Thanks all. I can sort of cope normally but it’s having to use crutches which is making everything worse. I just don’t know how it’s possible to non weight bear when you can’t use crutches
