Pain Cold and no sleep!

Hi

Can anyone tell me how to stop the cold affecting my shoulders neck and elbows?

I have OA and FIbro it really affects me when outdoors and for some reason at bedtime!

I have also started with pain in my ankles I suffer from Plantar fasciitis which never seems to get any better , any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Also no matter what I take I cannot sleep any tips for this?

For my foot problem I wear orthotics in my shoes I can not be without them. I also have ankle supports I wear around the home at certain times.

My GP sent me to see a podiatrist a few months ago with my foot problem I also have OA in my toes. You could try asking your GP for a referral.

Do you take any medication for your OA which I have in my lower spine, fingers knees etc. My GP asked me to try naproxin a little while ago for the pain.

I think the best thing would be to talk it through with your doctor and see what they can offer in the way of advice and maybe medication xx

Hi MD, I don't take meds for many reasons. But on my last visit to my GP she gave me a prescription and asked my to try naproxen for my OA pain. Sadly I'm not ble to try them as yet. But at least I have them to hand for when I become too desperate xx

For indoors I have one of those heated back warmers which my dear husband bought me. This one actually fastens around the neck with a kind of stick up collar and then wraps around the back. It has three heat settings and is absolute bliss. Outside I tend to wear layers and wear one of those thermal vests, a polo neck sweater with a lightweight but wool scarf and something with a hood so the back of the neck is covered.x
