Update. I had my lidocaine infusion 3 weeks ago

Had infusion on 16th October. Felt no pain except a backache for 3 days and it has taken away the achy feeling in my arms and legs. Unfortunately my neck and back pain are now more painful than before!!! Especially my back which stops me being able to stand up for longer than 1min without excruciating pain in my lower back. I have been walking for exercise and back does not hurt too much when I’m moving. I’ve tried all meds inc amitripyline and nothing works. Appt with doc next week. It’s really getting me down always being in pain and it doesn’t help that I’m getting fatter and fatter due to no exercise 😖😖

Have you tried swimming? I struggle with walking but I swim once a week.

Have been thinking about swimming. Sure I can manage once a week, well some weeks 😁

It doesn't sound as though it has been very successful. Could you stand for long periods before. Maybe your GP will suggest some physio to help.

Yes I could stand up a bit longer before the infusion but the lower back pain has increased Now ☹️

I was so hoping the infusion would work. Hopefully my doc will help at my appointment xx
