ESA just wounded if any one can help.they have not sent for me for a long time now but then I got a letter to go for a medical it's been about 7 years since they sent for me

Hi Lizabeth1368,

They sent for me after 5 years. It wasn't long after I applied for my Pip appeal.

I eventually got a letter saying that I was placed back into the support group without a medical.

Hopefully they will not ask you to go for a medical based on your medical questionnaire.

Oh, I just read that wrong sorry. They have already asked you to go to the medical. I assume you filled in the medical questionnaire?

Hi I was in the same position as you up until March of this year. I was one of the first to go onto ESA when it first came out. I was placed into support group. My medical seemed to just concentrate on my new conditions as the assessor did not ask any questions on my original conditions from 2011. I asked and she stated we already have more than enough information on them. The criteria for ESA as changed over the years but if they have left you this long then I think it will be a matter of going through the process.

That’s all I was asked when I had mine five weeks ago. Not even ask for my paperwork which I had in my bag. Good luck when your appointment comes through 🙂

hi Ive just hadthe same , never had a medical or face to face in 13 years ,i had to go on Monday 11th .I got a large form to fill in answered all questions and added even more and took past info etc with me ,she told me she didnt need anything more there was enough info ,and said i can see you are in lots of pain ,im not even going to ask you to lye down for examination ,so hopefully it was in my favour .I have been in support group since esa began ,before that it was incapacity .Hope this helps you .good luck.Heather
