Hi
Have you been scratching an itch. I've got similar but on a smaller area on my leg. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx
Dunno looks like a rash take some benedryl see if it goes down let it breathe if it’s hot.
I have no idea, but nurse or gp might , cos it has a certain pattern appearance...,!
Have you been holding a hot water bottle or similar, that's all I can think of x
Hi Abby, I agree, I'd have it checked out xx
I’ve had exactly the same , it went within 2 days . I’ve still not a clue.
Bartonella rash (tick bite) maybe? Does it look a bit like stretch marks? Take a look at images online and if you think it is like your rash, I would suggest speaking with GP either way.
It looks more like Toasted skin syndrome to my eye.
In Scotand it used to be called tinkie tartan but that's going back a lifetime,, and caused by standing to close to the fire to try and get an bit of heat into your body in winter but any sourse of heat can do it.
People have mentioned whether she has used a hot water bottle for pain resulting in the rash. I remember my skin as a child next to the old two bar heater, so it could well be that.
I was suggesting other things as I assumed the OP would remember if she had been near something hot .
Two bar heaters,, now you've set me off remembering growing up with the smell of parrifin heaters around the house,, I can still remember the smell prefectly,, one of those smells of childhood that never leaves.
🤔hm it sort of looks like stretch marks that have turned red for some reason? If it persists, get worse I would have you GP take a look at it. If it goes away then it may have been heat related and I wouldn’t worry about it. Does it itch? Sting or cause you any discomfort?
Stretch mark looking rash (without any cause - pregnancy, loss of weight etc) is often thought to be Bartonella infection .
It maybe Bartonella infection.🤔I’m not a dermatologist plus I’m over due for an eye exam so things are a little blurry. Either way my advice was to seek the GP if it didn’t improve or got worse. It looked like my stretch marks when they are read.
