Last night my husband found me spark out on the landing. I remember getting up to use the bathroom but the next memory I have is of him trying to wake me.
The evening before was a normal Friday night. Couple of glasses of wine but certainly not blackout inducing.
I have a diagnosis of probable fibromyalgia and a couple of weeks ago I was given the all clear by a neurologist.
Both specialists have discharged me.
I can't get an appointment with my GP for love nor money and I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
Understandably we're both really worried.

From what I know and my own experience that doesn’t sound like it’s linked to fibro, please keep us updated and definitely push for it to be looked into thoroughly! X
Get your husband to ring NHS 111 again if you do not feel any better by tomorrow morning. He must not be fobbed off. There are emergency locums available 24/7 and you have the right to be seen within hours, not days if you are worried. A blackout is not trivial. Good luck.
I echo what others have said. Please call 111 and talk to an operator there, before going to A&E. Blackouts are never trivial, It could be something simple, but it could just as easily be something which needs attending to. 111 can advise as to whether it is necessary to go to A&E. They can also call a locum for you, so you can be seen and reassured.
A&E are always very busy, so turning up there unnecessarily would not help. That's what 111 is for.
Glad you getting to speak with your gp. I've had a couple of what seem to be absent seizures. I walked into the kitchen and didn't no how i'd got there. The 2nd one i was out with my hubby and i walked out into the road. Apparently he was trying to pull me back as a car was there but i still to this day have no recollection. I was referred to a neurologist who ordered a brain scan and also wanted a eeg doing. The brain scan reveiled i was born with a rare genetic disease but he then discharged me saying the episodes we're just one of those things. Well i brought this to the attention of my gp who has rewritten to the neurologist and if no luck he's getting a 2nd opinion as he didn't carry out the eeg in the end. I do also have cervical spondylosis with stenosis so any of these could be a factor but it's definetly not a fibro thing. Hope your feeling better today.
that happend to me and in fact it took 7 yrs to diagnose me it was SUDEP please ask your dic to look into it mine was only found after extensive tests and having a special helmet I had to wear for a week in hospital it is a type of epilepsy where your heart stops and is very rare and hard to detect mainly because no one considers it, please mention it to your doctor asap
Go to A&E or a walk in you need to know why you passed out and also chances of it happening again hopefully it was a dip in blood pressure but you are so lucky you wasnt on the stairs etc bless you hun does youre gp have a morning ring in for emergencies cos i think this is important enough hope you get sorted soon hunny hugs n love xxxxx
