So on top of the fibro, I have fatty liver disease. It is reversible with diet and exercise.
But how the h*ll (edited by admin) am I supposed to get the recommended half-hour vigorous exercise a day when even 30 seconds on the cross trainer causes a flare up?
It's so frustrating!

With difficulty it is easier said than done. I know we need exercise to help our fibro but they suggest gentle exercise not vigorous.if it is any consolation I've had fatty liver disease for about 20 years and I'm still here. At the time I was diagnosed I eat healthily and swam 75 lengths a week so they didn't know what had caused it. Do hope you can come up with something that helps it looks as though it is just diet for you.x
I thought I was eating very healthily, but having had a look at the things in my cupboards and fridge I've discovered that there was a lot more salt and glucose-fructose syrup in my diet than I realised.
I did cut out all added salt on meals or in preparation about that time as I was diagnosed with HBP. Unfortunately, I've found that it seems to be contained in the most unlikely of foods. I find now that I don't miss it apart from on my "luxury" food chips.x
I had Fatty Liver Disease and was told I’d be dead in 5 years if I didn’t reverse things. It took 18 mths just by reducing fat in my diet to bring my levels within the normal range. I can’t walk so exercise is limited.
