Weird veins
At quick glance looks like Varicose Veins, although usually a leg complaint but look similar to me but maybe not. Other members will also comment I expect
But do consider going to GP for a proper examination and diagnosis

Hi Ellie27, compared to my wrist veins, yours look neat and normal in your photo. On my dominant hand, my veins are like visible raised tubes, not too bad on the other hand. Until I saw your photo, I hadn't thought about how they looked. They function OK as far as I know.Although I do get aches and pains every so often.
My daughter got that it was tendonitis with her but in past my veins showed up more because I was anemic. Best goto drs as suggested.
I will thank all for your replies x
If they've gone back to normal it was probably your body temperature. Veins increase in width, look nearer to the skin surface, in order to lose heat from the body.
To test, try lying one wrist on an ice pack, one on a warm hot water bottle and you'll see the difference.
Hi Ellie, I have the same thing. As long as they are not painful, swollen, red or inflamed I wouldn’t worry about it. Next time you are at your doctor’s appointment you can discuss it with your doctor. It isn’t pulling up any red flags to be concerned about.
Were you warm when you took the photo? It looks completely normal to me. Try not to worry.
