So, I am really confused. After being referred to rheumatologist by the gp, I saw the physio attached to the team. Apparently, I'm a bit of a mystery!!! I have got to be referred back to my neurosurgeon as there were a few red flags. I have an appointment in 8 months time.

To avoid any more confusion, I have added this. I also have NF1 and because of this had to have 3 spinal operations between 2014-2015. This is why the rheumatologist team are referring back to Southampton. The 8 months is in hope this will happen prior to being seen again!

Hi little star, I think it might be a good idea to go back to your gp and ask what they reported as you have a right to know as 8 months is a long time to wait and you don’t want to get stressed waiting and wondering what’s up as this could lead to a flare up and anxiety. Sending you hugs 🤗🤗🤗

Good luck with everything. Sure hope they find out what the root of the problem is and are able to help you.

Hang in there.

Better to be investigated and get clarification. It’s tough waiting so long but I agree refer back to your gp for more info and updates
