Trying to understand

hi I'm new to the group after recently being diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I'm awaiting hydrotherapy at the moment. Tbh I just feel like I'm a burden 😔

Hello jmr246 welcome to our very friendly group I'm sure many of us understand how you feel. But you have to remember you never asked to be unwell. I do think sometimes we can be our own worse critic where fibro is concerned. I know I see myself as a burden too but I know my hubby doesn't so maybe we should try and be a little kinder to ourselves ((hugs))

Hydrotherapy was really good and worked well for me, sadly in my NHS area they only give you six weeks of appointments with an option to book some "after hours" sessions on your own, all well and good but when the Hospital is 15 miles away its not so easy.
