Hi, there is no exact length of time really. Some can hear within a week or two for others it could be between 4 to 6 weeks or longer. Maybe you could give them a call on Monday if you have been waiting for a while and have a word with them. Xx

Mines was 3 weeks 🤞 you get yours soon x
I am still waiting since 27th August!
Mine was just slightly over the 4 weeks but they told me four to six weeks so it was within the timescale. The person who is the assessor has to send their report to the decision makers as I understand it. I got a letter before I got my award which just said we have all t h e information we need to make a decision and will contact you again in due course and the award letter arrived not too long afterwards. X
Ok I wait thanks
From when you first apply for PIP to when you get a decision can take 6 months or longer. Once you apply on the phone, you get sent a long form to complete and return. Then they usually arrange a face-to-face assessment with a Disability Assessor - usually a nurse and usually at your home or a Disability Centre. Their report then goes to the DWP Decision-maker who gets up to 6 weeks to review it, query it and issue a decision.
Hi realisethemagic hope you can help you put that the discsion maker has 6 weeks from when dwp recive assessment report to make a decision what happens after them 6 weeks has past thank you xxx
