My fibro story

Hello everyone! today is my first day here. I have fibromyalgia, spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease. I'm really glad to have found this forum.

Hi ashimahimsa. This is a great site with lots of encouragement from members. I also have fibro, bulging discs in my lumbar spine and wear and tear which I was told needs no treatment or operation as the nerves in my legs are not affected. At times the pain in my back is unbelievable and makes it nearly impossible to walk without crutches. I've never spoken to anyone with anything like this before. Hi ashimahimsa , I am sorry you are suffering with fibro and additional back problems, it sounds very painful but I am pleased you have found you way to us. I also have everything you have, along with a bit more. There is definitely a legal no between fibro and other bony diseases ( mine seem to be related to terminology. But this is a great group who will answer anything whether related or not .

And it so helps to know there are others out there, but we are also all different so you will see a massive variety of symptoms and differing treatments, you will ( if you haven't already) discover what is best for you.
