Hi Bondi73 , sorry to hear you are feeling so fatigued, a lot of us will certainly be able to empathise with that. When you feel up to it maybe you can post again and give us some more information about yourself so we can get to know you better. Our friendly members will be more than happy to offer lots of help and support. However I notice you haven’t locked your post. You don't have to but many of our members are not too keen on responding to unlocked ones therefore you are likely to receive more replies if you do, as it prevent the whole thread being read by internet search engines. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the link below but if you get stuck please don’t hesitate to ask for help.

I hope you start to feel better soon, take care. x

It's the fatigue that gets to me mentally and physically. Find I can always do something to help the pain but there's nothing for the fatigue.

Also notice and slight additional health problem, mive started with a cold, and the fatigue feels worse.

Hope you can do something that's just for you, relax somewhere warm and listen to music, watch a film or listen to a play. I'm hooked on audiobooks, find they really help to distract me.

Some days I feel like the bunny in the Duracell advert, I can be crumbling along OK one minute then the next it's just as though someone flicked a switch and all my energy is gone.

Sorry to hear that. I suffer from intractable pain for a number of diagnosis'. I absolutely know that you will not like what I am about to say but after years of experience of intolerable pain, I believe that it can be "in the mind". What I mean is, if you allow yourself to get depressed or angry thinking "why me" and such like it can only worsen your symptoms. I have attended pain clinics, tried CBT, massage, warm baths, ice packs, hot bean bags, bio freeze, aspirin, co codamol, fentanyl patches (high dose), Bu trans patches, Morphine, Gabapentin, Solpadol and so on but the only thing that works (in a fashion) for me is distraction therapy, I belong to a walking group, singing group, I help at the local breathe easy group, me and my partner go on four or seven day breaks as often as we can afford, in other words I do not get maudlin about things and try to keep occupied. I sincerely hope that you can "beat the blues" and you feel better soon.
