Painful when shaving

Just wondering if any of you ladies from the FibroFamily are finding it painful to shave your legs and underarms. I’v always use an epilator but had to stop a few months back due to the pain, now I can’t even run a wet shaver or an electric one over my legs because it causes to much pain 😤xxx

Not pain in the sense I think you are referring to but the pain in my hips and back from trying to shave my legs is so bad I struggle quite a lot with this ❤️❤️

Dont shave my legs - dont have th growth to need to however I do get very hairsore these days if |I tie my hair up, my scalp is very tender to touch when I take it down- anyone else got this?

Yup I've got this. Makes it difficult to wash my hair at times. I have to be very gentle.

I know the ones .....! Or waxing chest hair ouchie :)

Have you thought of trying hair removal cream? I struggle to shave my legs as it hurts my arms and hips trying to get into a position to shave. Same with my underarms. You can get it from Poundland and put it on anywhere you have hair, leave for about five minutes then either wash or wipe it off. Makes life so much easier as if you need assistance, you can ask someone to apply it for you rather than trusting them with a sharp blade! 😂 Hope this helps xxx

Thank you Georgia for hair removal cream reminder, I used it this morning, bought the sensitive skin type just in case and I am now silky smooth it smelt really nice to, I think the last time I used cream, it was called Immac and the smell was awful 👍xxx

The old hair removal creams used to smell vile and the smell would linger for ages 🤮 but I find the newer ones don’t smell so bad and make my life so much simpler!

I’m really glad to have been of some assistance ☺️💞

I never give it a thought, but now that you’ve mentioned the cream, I will give it ago thanks xxx

you poor guys lose your hair instead I think thats much worse, I can calm down my head soreness my sticking it under water, I can think of a few ideas for hair regrowth but I might be taking the mickey and thats not nice!!

Maybe epilating has upset the nerves surrounding the hairs? Maybe give it a rest for the winter see if it calms.

Yeah I haven’t used the epilator since September cause that’s when it starts to hurt 🤔 xxx
