Hi I have fibromyalgia and I am looking in to things to use as a sleep aid. A friend saw the u full body pillow. I was wondering whether anyone has used one and if to did it help with getting a better (comfortable) nights sleep. I would be greatful on your thoughts.

Hi . I got one a few weeks ago during a bad flare of pain and fatigue. It made me feel very hot in bed and didn’t really relieve the pain. Perhaps it will relieve your symptoms a bit but it isn’t for me. X

Hi. I got one and found it's great for back pain. I love mine. I had the best sleep I've had in ages. I do agree with mcglada0 however that it can be a bit hot.

I have one and it is a bit unwieldy. It is hard to change positions under the covers and a lot of times it winds up on top of me. It is good if you just want to take a nap

I find the v shaped pillow the best for me.it props me up and I put my favourite pillow in the middle and then your shoulders slip into the v. I need to be propped up a bit because I have Pulmonary fibrosis, but I have painfull back and shoulders due to R.A.and fibro. Linda x

Thaks sweetie. PM me which vendor if you recall please. The last normal pillows I bought lasted about 12 weeks! 😤 💗

Hi I know this was posted 3yrs ago but I've only recently joined this site so if my response is too late then please ignore. I have recently bought a v-shaped pillow from fashionworld.co.uk. Think it was £11 & came with 2 plain white pillowcases. I bought 2 pillows (4 cases in total) use 1 in my riser-recliner chair which is actually giving me more support than without it & I can rest my head (if I fall asleep in the chair & don't wake up with sore stiff neck or more back pain. Not tried the other pillow cos want to use it in bed but need to work out best way to use it with my adjustable bed. Some people say lay the pillow flat on the mattress (my bed is always raised at the head), use an extra pillow underneath, or on top, or no other pillows, some have it between their legs for support or a v pillow to support head/neck another v pillow between legs. Just going to have to try whatever's best for me. My only complaint is it's a hassle & a faff trying to get the pillowcase on but I keep trying & stopping for a bit or get my husband to do it for me

I use the V pillow as not as big, also use a pillow between legs as it takes the pressure off my hips and knees. Can't say it helps me sleep as I always suffer from insomnia but it does help with comfort. Hope you find what works for you.

I have never thought about getting one. Mainly due to the fact that I don't like getting. To hot when I'm sleeping or clothes or covers being tight or too close to me . I even sleep with a window open in the winter months and no heating on ..... but if it works for people fair enough . Me personally would hate it . Xx

That is what I think will be the problem for me. I had wondered whether it would benefit me due to I sleep in a position that's comfortable but been advised to sleep in a slightly different position with pillow between my knees well after 3 nights I gave up as the pain was just not worth it. X

I thought I was the only one that can't sleep with heat on, no matter how cold it is.😊
