ESA ASSESSMENT IN 3 HOURS ....YIKES😣😣😣 !!!

Well got the dreaded assessment this morning, first one, alreadybeen thru pip assessment so I kinda expecting the same altho I'm told there different but either way in feel SICK !

3 hour's sleep last as i have all week since got the appointment coz got major anxiety so I'm sure you all know how it feels, thank you to all who replied to my first post regarding this assessment all advice was appreciated, cannot wait for it to be over and I come down from my anxiety so can relax an try get some sleep so I'm not flared up for Xmas day. Got my beautiful 19 year okd son who lives with me accompanying me who comforts me and my mum bless her who intervenes and will speak for me when I have panic attack because I can't speak when this kicks in just hope I don't throw up I feel so Ill this morning, well hopefully will get thru it and can have a merry christmas next week, bless you all hope everyone's ok and is as well as can be today, 6 more sleeps till Santa's here 🎅🎄🎁

There is no point me saying relax. I know nothing about ESA, except the process is unnecessarily stressful. Instead rely on your wonderful family they know you best and above all else be yourself , let them help you and try not to worry . Hi Meggieky thank you for your reply and well wishes, yes I do have my family at times like this so it's very comforting althomi still seem to be distressed even when they are with me but at least they are there so I'm thankful for this, and yes I cannot wait to start to relax again when its over later on, I'm desperate for sleep, and Christmas I'm looking forward to seeing all my little family here for a few hours I can't cope with more than a few hours its exhausting but they understand so still something to look forward too, I do hope you have someone to be with for christmas and are looking forward to the day x

I have been invited over to my brother and sister in law for a Christmas Day buffet and I’m cooking our Christmas meal on Christmas Eve so yes I’m fortunate to have lovely people around me.

Well everyone it's over now thankfully, the nurse was very nice very understanding and was with me for about 15 mins said she can see all she needs to know to make a claim in so fingers crossed, and now it's over after waiting over 12 months for this first essessment I can finally try to relax, thank you all for your support, I love this site don't know what I would do without finding HU 💜

I feel for you hun- SOME of these assessors are monsters and some are very nice, I was lucky. However Ive had an argument with DWP this week, dont they really cause us unecessary stress.... I was sent a "renewal notice" for PIP I wasnt aware we needed to do this, I filled in a 28 page form and copied numerous documents to send only for them to say it hasnt arrived- I rang and was told by a local DWP office that this should not have happened as I shouldnt need to be contacted until 2020 when I draw my gov pension! Then ESA send a form to be completed,- Q1 whats in your bank account? Q2 send us any proof of savings you have, we can do a credit check so dont cheat!! and Q3 using an online web sight please get your property valued--since I am in a council house that proved very difficult.. I demanded to speak to a Supervisor who said she would call me back when she had read my file... Grovel grovel an hour later- "we made a mistake the property in question is your daughters home under next of kin, someone inputted your details wrong in 2016" Its possible we owe you a rebate as your allowance was based on you being a property owner, I shall look at this myself..... Ive asked for this on writing and I will send it all to my local MP..

They should close down depts others than claimants at christmas time and show some spirit I shall suggest this to my MP, maybe more people will get their payments quicker...

Sorry for late reply been commatosed since appt lack of sleep left me fatigued, that is awfull what happened to you what is wrong with these people ?!? All the stress and anxiety theyv put u thru !

And goodness the questions they ask Are hurrendous,

I cant really grumble my assessor was really nice and supportive, altho maybe in the future i may not be so lucky but hopefully i will have luck 🍀
