Does this sound like fibromyalgia?

I started having pain in my body about 2 yrs ago and now I have feelings of pain on my skin, like if I rub against anything I feel like I have touched something like a needle, fire or just pain. I also have leg, joint and general body pain all the time.

Have you seen your doctor lately for a catch up as what s going on with you, he/ she might be able to tell you what is going on and give you some good advice, look forward to your further posts xx

You need to see your GP, ask for a referral to a Rhematologist ( can mean along wait. I waited almost 9 months) He/she will rule out other things, take bloods etc...

I have the pain you describe, all along the bone in my lower right arm. Hurts if I touch it, yet no signs of a bruise or a knock.

Left side of forehead hurts as if I've cracked it against something, yet not a mark, no swelling.

I look at is as " treat the symptoms" treating pain with painkillers, heat, soak in a hot bath. Lightheadedness heralds the start of a flare, the headache will follow, so it's my signal to go to bed.

Hello and welcome to the group. Only your Gp will be able to answer your questions by taking blood tests and sending you to see the right people if they feel it's necessary.

I would book an appointment with your doctor. With it been so near Xmas. It may be best to ring the surgery as soon as you can or you may not get an appointment till the new year. Good luck xx
