Hi does anyone else on here suffer from really swollen legs , feet and hands been a bad weekend n run out off things to try meds dont help x

Hi there perhaps get an appointment this week with your doctor have you mentioned this to he/she before medication can have effects my hand swelled up on gapapentin best to get checked out put your mind at rest as well take care x

Thanks i will do he is trying me on lyrica but i dont think they are working! 😣 to be honest pain is nearly reducing me to tears its that sore x

I'm so sorry you're suffering so much Hun. There's nothing worse than not being able to take control of your pain is there? Your medication could definitely be a cause of the swelling. I hope you can get it sorted soon. Sorry I can't be any more help to you. I take it you've tried ibuprofen etc ? Take care x

Hi caz - if my pain had kept increasing as it was, I was looking at morphine as a next step by doc x

HI, I also swell in my fingers and feet. I am not on medication so mine would be my OA and bad circulation due to not been able to walk very far or stand for long. But I would definitely get it checked out with your GP it maybe a side effect of your medication. After taking a look at the side effects from lyrica I found this bloating or swelling of the face, arms, hands, lower legs, or feet.

Thanks for your replies i cant take ibrufen because of my daily meds, i will go to gp in morning and see what he says hopefully pain eases. 👍

I can't take any anti inflammatory meds either but then I'm told with fibro nothing is inflamed. I get swelling. The doc wouldn't give me water pills coz she said u're body swells to try to protect something so let's look at that 1st!! More bloods! But any opiot I was told..slows the pain pathways down and therefore slows the functions of the body Ie bloating, constipation😌 x

It seems to happen when ive been up and about i have physio soon so hopefully get answers from them thanks i dont even know if im on opiot drugs x

It's a pest. I can't wear my wedding rings..I try to just rest my hands above my head up the wall for a bit. X

My hands and feet swell too. Water pills don't even make a difference. Some days can't wear rings or watch tight and shoes r a struggle! What's with that?? 🙄

I dont know but its sore, ive had legs elevated all night one day pain free would be bliss 🤔

Yes - my ankles will swell but it’s not medication related as I don’t have anything but tramadol and I rarely take that
