This is Agnes .no idea what breed she is but she likes to fly and sit on your shoulder. She chose me when I went to get new hens . She spends more time in other peoples gardens and went missing a few nights . I found her in next doors front garden sitting on 20 eggs!

She obviously likes you. I like chickens. I'm not sure if twenty eggs is a record, or she was looking after everyone else's eggs.

MAYBE fenbadger can give us the answer about the breed of chicken, she is lovely xx

best I can come up with is she's a type of bantam. I had some like this when I was a kid. Dad used to keep a few and I was allowed to collect some different breeds. Silkies, Polish.

This one's lovely :) and nothing nutty at all

That's one thing I have always wanted to do keep chickens, my sister used to have some loved looking after them when we visited. Surely they weren't all her eggs how lovely to have your own fresh eggs lovely. She looks lovely does Agnes.

She looks very like one of my gold partridge Pekin Bantams, they are serious sitters, mine usually lay in their houses but I found one under a wood pile on 27 eggs 🙄

I think she has found a new spot cause I started finding eggs but because I was moving them she hasn't laid any where I can find them

If she is a pekin she will probably stop laying soon, I'm only getting 1 or 2 eggs a day now instead of 12 as most of them have finished for this year.

Ah ain't she sweet :0) yum freash eggs enjoy x

Agnes is lovely! She looks like she's very taken with you. Clever chook to sit on 20 eggs, I love eggs! 🍳

A chicky, how lovely. And she wants to have a nice family? Bit late in the year for em though. If she hatches em out they might get cold. Maybe next year.

I don't have a cockerel so she would have a long sit !
