Update on sorry people I need to vent

sorry about this but I am so terrified I don't know what to do, following the posts I put on here about being harassed by my neighbours, and what they were and still are doing, they had gone to the builders who built our houses (they left site 32 years ago) to try to cause trouble for me, that back fired on them as I knew it would, but now they are planning revenge because that back fired on them, I am worried that because there are 6 of them (3 couples) who get their heads together to do things to me, that they are going to make false allegations about me to the police and that because there are 6 of them that the police will believe them and do something to me. the PCSO who came out before when I reported one of them to the council for being abusive and aggressive, went round to see these people then came back to me and said that he is a good judge of character and closed the case, they had seen him arrive and got their stories straight before he went round to see them, they also have a camera pointed at my house and he just says that no they don't, he hasn't been round to see.

The only way forward is for you to gather evidence, cctv and voice recordings, otherwise it's your word against others and nothing can be proved.

Hi i tend to agree with bantam12 banti would record everything have dates and times and what incidents were.

I would soeak to council and police again.

Oh my goodness. There are some fantastically horrid people in this world and sadly you live near a group of them.

Bantam12 and creativeness1 both have good advice. I would take it and begin gathers no evidence.

I have been keeping a diary, but it looks like they have got their heads together and come up with lies about me, if they go to the police with these lies, as there are 6 of them and only one of me will the police take their lies as evidence against me and do something to me. I am absolutely terrified

Police usually work on evidence not hearsay.

You need to document with proof.

Also May be worth taking legal advice yourself as this smacks of harassment.

The police have a duty to call if a complaint t is made but that doesn't mean they believe you're guilty of anything and they're not stupid.

I am so gneuinely sorry to reads this my friend and as the others have said please start collecting evidence (any that you can) for future use. I would also go back to the council and inform them of your fears so it is on record just in case anything like this does happen. I would speak with your local council and see if they can loan you a camera that covers both audio and picture I know that a lot of councils have these and in certain situations will lend them or at least set them up in your house for a period of time.

I totally sympathise with you. I have neighbours who have been abusive towards me. They keep complaining, falsely, that my dog barks day and night. The first time, the police actually came out! They have continuously harassed me by parking opposite my drive when their own was empty, they broke my fence on a daily basis and made false allegations. The police aren't really interested, all they did was give me a diary to keep but did not actually do anything when it was handed back saying that I had no video evidence!

A few months ago I decided to have cctv installed which was very expensive but I could see no other way of stopping them. However, another complaint was made to environmental health saying my dog barked day and night. I invited them to watch my cctv to prove that these were false allegations but they were not interested. I have now resorted to consulting a solicitor regarding the harassment and the fact that they refuse to re - place their fence on the boundary where it should be.

These are such horrible people just like your neighbours. You should keep a note of every incident including date and time and how long the incident lasts. If the police do not help, complain to your councillor. Keep safe, you are not alone.
