Stinging gum's bad pain

Hi Guy's, this pain I'm getting is so bad at the moment I can't cope with it at all.

Hi there bobajob I feel for you mouth pain is agony. When does your pain start ? is it after brushing your teeth ? Do you think you may be brushing them too much or not to be rude but too little? If teeth are not cleaned correctly plaque can build up and cause bacteria which can cause gum problems such as something called gingivitis.

I think a visit to your dentist may be needed to get it checked out. I do hope you can get some pain relief soon there is nothing worse than tooth or gum pain.

Hi mo thanks for your reply yes I'm going to see my dentist in the morning hopefully she will be able to do something for me I will of course let you know what happens.

Hi bobajob I'm sorry you are suffering with such Pain my friend. Have you been to your dentist ? It could be that you Have an infection and may need antibiotics ? Antiseptic mouthwash helps but it has to be antibacterial mouthwash. We're here if you want to chat to take your mind off it, distraction can help sometimes.

I am so sorry you have this problem at the moment.

I wonder whether you have Burning Mouth Syndrome?

I have had Burning Mouth Syndrome several times over the last couple of years.

My dentist told me that it is called Burning Mouth Syndrome because your mouth actually feels like it is burning and it is usually caused by a lack of Vitamin B12.

Do you have ulcers with it as well and slight "cuts" in the sides of your mouth?

My dentist diagnosed me with it and suggested that I buy some Daktarin gel/cream which really helped. I bought it in the chemist and it's in an orange box.

Please let me know how you get on in the morning Bob.

I do hope you get some relief and the dentist sorts you out.

Five teeth out in a row may cause you to have a bit of a flare, our bodies don't like being messed around with, so it is wise to be prepared.

Hi , did you find out what was causing this stinging gums/teeth pain? i have the same thing in my whole mouth and its driving me bonkers.

Hi Sam, yes I did find out about the stinging sensation in my mouth the doctors I have seen all put it down to nurves in the mouth and told me to use ambersol you can get this from a chemist it really works I hope that this helps you.

Hi yes it as gone for a long time but it does come back from time to time I just keep on using the ambersol good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon.

I am assuming its a fibro flare with my nerves going mental! Im hoping its a one off and will disappear back where it came from

Hi sydn, it may be a fribo flare up causing the problem but it will go away then the stupid thing comes back with a bang just like every illness.
