Well saw a different Dr yesterday...explained my symptoms and the fact that mum has Fibromyalgia. He suggested I have blood tests so could see what happening. Is it osteoarthritis...I have just had knee replacement and other needs doing...or could it be something else...RA....thyroid...etc. He even suggested I would need a double appointment to discuss 20 mins...so I am having blood tests next week then week after go back for results. I know it took my mum a long time to get a diagnosis...and I was really nad when a professional told me it was a made up disease

GP visit.....got to have tests ❓ Fibro
Good morning Hoddi it sounds like you have a good doctor there checking everything out good for them. It helps when we find someone willing to do the checks if it's only to rule things out. I will keep my fingers crossed all your tests come back clear. Please keep us updates take care and have a nice day xx

You have a doctor who is prepared to investigate so that is really good. Whatever comes about from your blood tests at least you will be treated appropriately.
It is always good to have a name to any symptoms you have.
Some of the medical profession seem to think we are malingering and that we are imagining our symptoms. They forget that fibro is a recognised condition by the NHS and DWP.
Now if asked what is the matter with me, I say one of my other diseases, I seem to get a better response than saying fibro.
Hope it all goes well for you.

I hope you don't get diagnosed with fibro Hoddi- treating OA and Ra whilst they are very painful, at least there are therapies and meds to lower the pain, with fibro its so different as your mum will tell you.
Hi Hoddi
They sound like a very good doctor and I would try and stick with them. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck with your tests, and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
