Hi Rstewart

I am so genuinely sorry to read this my friend, and I am presuming that you are not from the UK? I would go to your nearest ER (Emergency Department) as Hidden says and tell them you are post op and in terrible pain.

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Hello Rstewart and welcome to our friendly fibro forum where you can get advice, support, help and understanding.

You haven't said if you have a diagnosis of fibro or if you are still waiting and being tested. Our mother site fmauk.org has a lot of good information about fibro, including guides and links.

I would ask to speak to the doctor who prescribed your tablets and check if what the nurse is saying is correct.

It may be that you were only allowed to take them more frequently after your immediate surgery and this could now be a way of bringing you down from that as a way of reducing and stopping altogether.

Hope you get it sorted out very soon and get some relief.

Kay

Hi Rstewart welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.

I see you have been given the best advise already and i hope you have managed to contact the hospital or your gp to ask them the best thing to do. As with any surgery. there is always a chance of complications, so my advise would definitely be to call gp or your hospital.

I do hope you get some relief very soon my friend.

Peace, luv n light

Jan xx

Hi there, go to your gp. It's up to them to help you manage post op pain. I'm waiting to see surgeon for probably cervical surgery for advanced arthritis. Take it easy and definitely go to gp.
