Hello Elli1964 and a very warm welcome to our friendly fibro forum where you can get advice, support, help and understanding along with a giggle or two to brighten the day.

Have you seen our mother site fmauk.org ? Here you will find a wealth of information including guides and links.

I think it would be extremely difficult to say your fibro was caused by chemo or if you had it dormant and the trauma of having cancer has triggered it. It is a bit chicken and egg.

Some members have both, myself included, and I am blaming the shock of a cancer diagnosis and all the worry that goes with it.

I am sorry I cannot be more specific, it would be an interesting question to ask both your oncologist and rheumatologist and compare the answers.

Looking forward to seeing you around the forum.
