Hi smiler66 sorry you have fibro and bi polar.

Yes I changed from DLA to PIP last year with the same but I have other illness's too.

I got the same award as I already on. To be reviewed again in 2019. I had a home assessment and the Lady was very nice but she did tell a lot of lies when I read what she had wrote.

It is a scary I know. I'm currently going through the same with ESA. Lots of people here have gone through the transition too.

Get all the info together that you have. Hospital letters. Letter from doc. Anything you have to back up what's wrong.

We have our own benefits adviser here Janet. Admin will be along to give you the links you need.

Try not to worry.

Take care

Hi Smiler69 I am overdue for the changeover to PIP and like you I am quite nervous.

When your form arrives make a copy of the relevent parts and practice what you want to write in pencil first.

I advise you too to make an appointment with the Citizens Advice and/or your local council Welfare Benefits Advisor. These services are free.

If you type PIP in the search box, top right you will get more idea of what the DWP are looking for, also Related Posts on the right.

I am sure other members will be along with their experiences too.
