Hi Jayney7 sorry your feeling so rough.

It is so thoroughly awful to live with all of this and it stops you doing the feel good things that others just take for granted.

I feel sorry for everyone that has fibro and a young family because I really don't know how you do it.

Hope your flare relents soon angel.

Take care

Angie xx

Oh bless you Jayney7 I do feel for you, it's very hard when you can't do your normal daily tasks because your in so much pain, especially when it's doing something for your child because we always think they don't understand. I'm always surprised by their understanding of situations & they do make their own sence of it, even though they would prefer not to and its out of their routine, but tbh I think it helps them to learn and it doesn't effect them in anyway. So don't feel guilty because you can't control your pain, you have to rest, you rest. You can only push yourself so far & then your body makes you stop & there isn't anything you or the doctor can do to stop that but you can get your pain meds changed. Have you ever been to a pain clinic for pain management ? If you haven't already, take a look at The Spoon Theory, a lot of members use it & find very useful.

Peace, luv n light

Yes think he does under stand he clingy any way and hates school I hate making him go bit he better off there as least he as is friends to play with just hoping feeling better for the school holidays so can take them out xx

Hi Jayney don't think I,ve messaged you yet! I see you do a school run, I assume your own children too? Maybe if your kids like swimming you could find a pool that has a Jacuzzi and go as late as poss so that you have it to yourself and fewer "splashers and jumpers" who get in the way. I go with my daughter and I sit in the Jacuzzi whilst she has a swim, I really look forward to it as its one of my only trips out, and the warm bubbles really do ease a lot of aches and pains.

I'm so sorry you are in such horrible pain. I liked the thought of swimming with your child, even if it isn't in a jacuzzi. The weightlessness of the pool feels great and sense he is young you come probably just sit in the shallow end with him while he plays by the steps or something, not sure how young he is. But I'm sure that would suffice for him. Though getting to the pool with the wee one isn't easy either. You know, my children LOVE when I read to the or play music while they dance and sing, and it isn't that hard on my body, though holding a book at times can get rough, but you could always let him hold it for you.

You could have him work on his scissor skills and cut up construction paper and then glue those pieces on another piece of paper. Or cotton balls or glitter or sequence or beads.

Oh beads and string, making bracelets or necklaces.

Tiny marshmallows and tooth picks, you can build houses and wheels and bridges and anything.

You could make cookies or just let them help make lunch or whatever. Kids love helping around the kitchen.

Your child loves spending time with you, so you can do anything and as long as you are showing him positive attention he will be beyond pleased.

I am always pleasantly surprised at how much my kids enjoy all the simple things we do.

My oldest is considered 1st grade and my youngest is just hitting preschool age. I homeschool them both and love every second of it.

It has been stressful at times for sure. But they know that mommy has muscle issues and sometimes we don't do as much because my muscles are hurting.

Anyways don't think you have to leave the house to do something fun.

Good luck××
