Fibro fog forgot to post earlier I've got the go ahead off council for wet room just have to wait for plans and then work will start not holding my breath as to when but it's a brilliant start 👌👌

Have you got as far as asking for quotes ,if not when phoning builders ask how long it will be before they would be able to start if they where awarded work ,Some can be book up for many months in advance .

Hi rose it's council so they sort all that out I just have to sit and wait for a slot to appear and work will start made up though thanks carol x

I take its a Disabled Assess Grant applied for through the Council

If it is yes they do plans and specifications then provide you with a list of approved contractors for you to contact to get 2 quotes. You don't have to use builders from list but they do have to price on the specifications provided .Once you have quotes you send them into the Council and they make the final choice.

I can only go by how my Council work and I have applied for two of these for clients over the last few years .

It is easier if you don't have anything to do

It's a long time 2 years hope it gets done soon depends on councils my ot said now we have good ahead she will keep pushing I no there's a waiting list she did say hopefully before Xmas but we shall see x

Morning Hun we had ours done messy but worth it. Had a bad night kept waking, pain in back & legs feel like lead weights, and I am supposed to be going out. Grr going to have soak in shower & see if helps. Going to Dunelms which I know what I want. & the Range for the life of me I can't remember what I want there lol. So going to pad chair and see if it jogs memory. I love my baths to, at least hub can use his mums. Did you sleep ok?xx

Aww hope shower helps so you can get out I love the range especially at Xmas time was awake till 2ish and woke at 8 so not to bad just agony from yesterday note to one self take wheelchair but then you think in your head I'll be OK but no really need to give in a bit hope you remember what you want or its a wasted trip or you will buy all kinds and not what you wanted let me no how you get on hun xxx

My friend who is a widow had one out in by the council and she is 85 and she says it has made so much difference to her life it is unbelievable. They actually did a lovely job and it is very trendyx

Morning Bambam.

Yes I am resting at the moment.Still in pjs and lolling about on settee.4 apps in 2 days have worn me out.The two I had yesterday were good and I want to post a question later about biologics.

Just trying to muster up the energy to get in the shower,before I go to the hospital to get my legs seen to.

By the time I Get all that done it will be nearly tea time.

Another day gone just like that!!!

Just a question re the fish oil.My husband went to get me some yesterday but the chemist tried to sell him cod liver oil capsules.He didn't get them because they were not what I had asked him to get.Do you have a name of the ones you bought so they don't try to fob him off with the wrong thing again?

I was very lucky...I got the yes to a wet room and 5 days later I got a knock on the door asking me if they could See the size off the room

So I said yes and they asked me if they could start the next day as someone had cancelled and I was like yes yes must of look like a crazy woman lol

It took 5 days to complete and I'm so happy even still now after 3 years
