Help and advice needed from my fibro family

How does our condition affect us from getting pregnant? Has it affected anyone from conceiving? And has anyone gone through pregnancy and been even difficult with fibromyalgia? How was things after giving birth? Something I'm worried about as pregnancy itself is difficult. Would like to start a family soon. Atm I've got my 1 week old nephew on my chest and it feels so nice and relaxing and peaceful 😊. Makes me happy

Hi Dimplez18

I have pasted for you below a link to some FMA UK patient booklets. One is called: ''The Fibromyalgic Pregnancy and Beyond'' and another is entitled: ''Pregnancy and Newborns,'' so I sincerely hope that you find them useful:

I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi Dimplez18 Looking back to when I had my 2 and believing that my fibro started in my very early teenage years I would like to say that firstly although I had very bad sickness with my first born, a daughter, the pregnancy and the deliveries were more than acceptable. I had a couple of complications, just like any normal pregnancy could have, but the one bit of advise I would give is to look after yourself and if you are working give yourself plenty of time to recover afterwards before you go back. Try to just relax as much as you can and enjoy the whole experience of creating a very special and amazing and sometimes really frustrating little human being who will change your life beyond belief in the most creative ways you will never dream of lol :o) Good luck in your adventure x
