If it's not what is it? My Dr says it is not fibro but I feel all the discomfort described by fibro sufferers.

So sorry to here that your dr hasn't given you the answer as to what is causing you this terrible pain . Did your dr send you for any tests or do any himself to rule out anything else it could be ? Also is there only the one gp at your sugary if not go and see another one and hopefully they will be more helpful. Wishing you luck , and a pain free day is wished your way ♥ xx

There are several other medical conditions that have similar symptoms to Fibro. I would hope that your Dr is ruling them out before diagnosing you. We all go through a long time of trips to the Dr and test after test. Or I should say that most of us do. Sadly some GPs don't want to make that call as they are not up to speed with the latest on Fibro. That's why some of us are referred to a rheumatologist for a definitive diagnosis.

The last thing any of us want is to be told we have Fibro for which there is no cure when it is, in fact, something that can be treated. 🐸

Please don't give up.

Ask your dr what tests he's done and if not fibro, what is it? Then ask what he's going to do? If you're not happy get a second opinion.

I am so genuinely sorry to read that you did not manage to get a diagnosis one way or the other? Did your doctor give you any inkling as to what is causing your pain? I do get annoyed with doctors that will tell what it is not and then not tell you what they think it is! As the others have said there are quite a medical conditions with similar symptoms.

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck with getting some answers and please look after yourself.
