Usually shin splints are caused by running or being in high heels, the only cure I was told by a GP is rest and very comfortable flat shoes preferably ones with cushion soles it helps absorb some of the pressure on your legs.

Thank for your reply . I am way past running and high heel wearing so not sure what could be causing it or even if it is shin splins maybe its just fibro pain . I may see if I can get some cushioned insole might help thanks and wishing you pain free days xx

Hi. I’m in terrible pain with my shins today, If I rub my hand down them they are painful, when I walk my shins are very painful and it seems in go down onto the top of my foot, it usually lasts a few days then calms down, there doesn’t to be any rhyme or reason for it happening, no high heels or marathon running etc for me either 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Xx

Hi

Like Scottish-piglet, I've always know shin splints to be associated with running on hard surfaces. My brother in law had them and had to stop running. If I were you I'd go see your GP and see what he thinks you've got, just to be on the safe side.

Good luck and best wishes. 🌸

So most of the time I just roll with the pain and get on with it but my shins wont let me at the mo so defo

Need to see him .So once again thanks its nice to know that people take time out to try and help wishing you painfree nights and days xx

Try massaging a little magnesium oil into them at night, it could help. You may be low in VitD too, which adds to aches and pains.
