Coming off my meds update

Hi all, I am about a 3rd of the way of coming off my drugs, Although I still have some mild withdrawal I am feeling better in myself. My pain has not gone up too much so thats good at the mo. I am going to my lovely Norfolk next month for a holiday so I am not going to reduce anymore until I get back, by then I hope all my withdrawal symptoms have levelled out and then I will start reducing again. Its my Son's Birthday in a couple of weeks and it would be lovely to be able to go visit him and have a coffee. I hope everyone is coping with their pain etc as best you can. take care everyone, talk soon, soft hugs x

I have been following your posts and know how far you have come, you are amazing!.

I think you are doing the right thing in having your holiday in Norfolk before reducing further.  It will set you up nicely for the next stage, which perhaps should be easier as you know what to expect.

I am sure I am not the only one here who wishes you every success and happy hols!

So glad that you are still making good progress. Yes I think you are wise to call a halt until after you have been on your hols.  As you say it will be lovely to see your son and have a good catch up.  Only went to Norfolk once but loved it the most beautiful sky's and the weather was gorgeous and I thought the people were lovely.  Enjoy.😄👓👙x

Send my regards to Norfolk, I used to holiday thereevery year. I managed to go again last year, after not being able to for a couple of years. Unfortunately I think that will be the last time I manage to see that beautiful county.

Yes we do love norfolk also, I tend to stay in our holiday cottage more than I go out but it is lovely to hear the sea gulls and know the sea is a stones throw and that i get to take the dog on the beach with hubby when i feel well enough, I think once the car journey is over I can be in Norfolk or home and i know where I would prefer to be. So sorry you may not go again, I pray you get the chance of another holiday there. take care x

Hi metty

It is good to hear how you are doing :)

I thoroughly agree with what everyone has said.

I sincerely hope that you manage to have a nice coffee with your son for his birthday.

I also hope that you manage to have a wonderful holiday and are able to thoroughly relax and recharge your batteries.

Here's hoping for some good weather too.

Wishing you a pain free as possible break.
