Hi Sarahw  Can I ask you when did you send your completed form back & how long did you have to wait for your assessment & how long did you have to wait till they told you, you had lost. I know this not the same for ever one, but it may give me a bit of a guide. Please carry on don't give up, fight for what is yours. Regards & best wishes.

Hi there

Many apologies for butting in!

I just wanted to say that it is totally dependant upon where you live as to how long PIP assessments and awards take.

My ESA was 18 months in total.

You could ring the DWP to check that they have received your form?

Unfortunately I think the answer to your question is how long is a piece of string.

You could contact Janet, our Benefits Advisor and ask her your question?  She maybe better placed to give you an idea?

Janet's contact details are now underneath Pinned Posts to the top right of your screen under FMAUK's Own Benefits Advisor. There is a direct link on my post that you can use to contact her.

Wishing you less stress and more peace

Hi just seen your post and I have just heard today of my decision. I posted my application the week before Christmas and then received an appointment for my assessment 29th Feb.. In total it's taken about 4 months since picking up the phone to apply.. Good luck with yours and I hope with all my heart that you get a positive outcome.. Xxx

So sorry to hear that but don't despair.. I was refused the first time and didn't appeal but I gathered more evidence from doctors etc and reapplied.. Don't let this put you off as I know how much it gets you down.. Love and hugs xx❤️xx

I was on dla for depression,it was awarded till 2017,then a got a letter to say I needed to go for a medical assessment for pip, this was July last year,I received a letter from pip in September last year to say I am not entitled to anything and my money stopped in November last year,I have put an appeal in January, still awaiting for a decision,I am also a fibro sufferer and arthurits in my knees, and like you all that suffer,s with fibro it's a day by day problem,it's a wake up and put your feet on the floor and then you soon know if your going to have a good day or a bad day.

I take paracetamol, tramadol, and gabapentin, these help me to even get up and function,I still have the pain but not as bad,I still have the main symptoms and still have really bad days,I also have medication for depression and anxiety and sleep disorder.

Hope you all have a good day the best that you can, take care all x
