Its probs darker because its older blood if that makes sense, mine are never on time in fact every 17-22 days I bled and it was always dark, it me be endometriosis like mine.

I am so genuinely sorry to read this, and I would definitely take her to see her doctor. As a man I know nothing about this sort of thing but I would of thought the extra weight during the period is water retention? I know some contraception pills can help you gain weight but there could be dangers to her long term health with these? I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you both all the best of luck.
