Can fibromyalgia cause ear aches soreness ?

I think so as a lot suffer with them. My advice would be to get it checked out by doctor just to be sure.

I have had very itchy, burning ears for years and sometimes they even bleed,my GP said I have eczema in them but I have read that several people have the same problem,

I have eardrops from GP which stop the itching.

Kitty, When you are showering or bathing, keep yours ears dry by placing ear plugs in them, this will prevent any water from entering your ear canal. I too suffer from inner ear eczema (right ear) doing this prevents a lot of unessecery flare-ups from happening. According to my GP, It's possible I may have nerve pain which appears much more magnified at times.

It would be good to see your GP for a checkup to eliminate any other possible Health issues and ofcourse to give you peace of mind. Do let us know how you get on xx

I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I think that goldwing and ryanbone have hit it on the head. I also think the Regnofibro1 has given you some wonderful advice as it is always best to get things checked out by a doctor just to have other medical conditions ruled out of the equation. Ohh I feel your pain. I suffer from this a lot. Anybody got any advise with regards to flying and ear pain. You should check with your GP in case you have an infection. I seem to get infections all the time in my ears and throat

My hearing has become so sensitive that I struggle in our noisy happy family home. Sometimes I wear earplugs, but when resting and all through the night I softly play Chill FM through ear plugs that calms me and keeps out unwanted noises! Including snoring! Lol
