I always get a stupid day, two days ago I went to our town , went to the cash desk ,put my card into machine to pay and I'm having a foggy moment, then rememberd my pin, put it in and it was wrong one, put it in again the same number ,wrong number, at this point I felt the ground should swallow me up as by this time I could feel my energy drain, I took my card out at a panic and asked the assistant to cancel what I wanted to buy, had to go away from the cash desk to cllect myself, then I realised that I was using another card with the wrong number, at this point i rem it was wrong card, OMG so so so so embarased

i used online banking when on a fibro fog day, accidentally paid my electricity bill twice and set up a standing order to pay it twice every saturday and took myself overdrawn!

Minx88x ... I'm glad to hear I'm not alone, lol Oh its not as funny at the time, but hey, we have to laugh,.

That's a shame you ran into your overdraft. but heh at least your paid well in advance.

I don't call it fibro fog because I've had these symptoms all along, and much worse, when I was first diagnosed with ME. Personally I find it more of a problem if I am also suffering ME fatigue then with fibro pain. So I just refer to it as brain fog.

Sorry to hear that, i would say its the past three years for me, not nice at all is it,

Not at all. Whatever causes it, ME or fibro, it can be quite embarrassing and even distressing. When I first developed it I thought I was losing my marbles.

What really irritates me though is I find it is one of those things like sleep that healthy people easily misinterpret. "Oh I get that too, I'm always tired". Or "oh yes I've got a dreadful memory too, it comes to us all". I'm fed up of saying well no actually it doesn't come to us all in the same way. It's not the same thing at all. Most healthy people really don't get these conditions do they. It can be like hitting your head off a brick wall trying to explain to them sometimes.

Margaret its great to have a rant, there is always someone who listens, there is a lot off listeners, and caring people here.

I don't have ME , I feel tierd all the time too.

Not everyone realises how frustrating this is for us , do they.! hitting head off wall ,, yeah. . Feel like it a lot,, but it would be sore, enough pain for now.. lol

Today's foggy action saw me jamming my bank card in the receipt slot at the petrol pump....thought it was a fairly good day till I tried to deal with this...someone eslse drove home😀
