Congragrats! When my grandson was born everyone wondered, including my OH, how I would react. I'd never wanted boys, so felt lucky that I had two girls, but my grandson, Ben, who is 2 now, stole my heart and is not letting go soon. I hope your grandson gives you as much happiness as Ben gives me 😀

WowI wondered how I would react to a grandson, as I'm used to girls, but once I got used to a different way of changing nappy ( putting something to stop me being soaked), I fell in love, yet again, having done it once before when my granddaughter was born. you are lucky that he is here safe and sound, with the ability to love u - nearly as much as his mum and dad. Xx

Congratulations. Most important I'd that all went well in the end. Shouted like emergency c/s. Hope she'll give a go at breastfeeding? The benefits are so many, from less allergies to better bonding. Even if it's expressed milk. If she prefers.

Blessings.
