I am talking Nurse Ian's advice and stay cool π calm and gentle. To be laid back to the point of being slack.
Pain Management Program not really for fibromyalgia. Fatigue and flares not compatible with sitting or concentrating for hours on end. From 9-30 until 4 too much.

I was talking about the length of pain management courses withmy physio saying that they go on too long for fibro sufferers and the ones here are from 9 til 12 so the hours you say are cruel. The physio agreed and says they are trying to run classes one hour long like the knee one we're going to soon 10 til 11 once a week which is much more acceptable.
Phaps you should write a note to the health care trust you are under suggesting they might have a better uptake and results from shorter hours .Might help and the management might actually look at fibro symptoms and see why!
I genuinely do not blame you as pain management courses last for ages! You could say that they are a pain in themselves. I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.
I found that with pain management although they did advise to get up and move around if need be. I find it more helpful on here a bit of tongue in cheek with good advice much more palatable and no-one can see me sticking my tongue out at them.
