Hi all. Just wanted to share this pic. Georgia is the Westie. Lily is a Cavapoo.
My Best Friends!!: Hi all. Just wanted... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
My Best Friends!!
Beautiful xx
Thank you Annieblue. They are my world. I've had Georgia since she was 6 weeks old. It's her 10th birthday - 23rd October. Lily is a new addition. She's a rescue. We girl her 6 weeks ago. She's settling in well. But as she's had 4!!! Hones in her short 18 month life she's still a little skittish. But now she has a new, loving home for life she'll be right!!!! XX
Thank goodness she has somebody who loves her and knows how to look after her xx
She must have been waiting for you xx
They are gorgeous
Thanks for the reply. Georgia''s doing OK after her tumour removal yesterday. She's eating, drinking and playing with her adopted sister Lily once again. I've ordered them each a t shirt with their names on. Mainly to protect Georgia''s back as she has a very large wound with internal and eternal stitches on it as a result of the tumour removal. I'll try and post a pic of them wearing said shirts when they arrive. XX
That is good news. I am glad it went well for her and you don't have to worry.
Hope the legs settled down for you
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately my legs almost never stop twitching. I'm thinking of starting my own social media site and calling it 'Twitcher' What do you think. Will it catch on??lol XX
Twitcher sounds good, think it could catch on, reminds me of something else......what could it be
Um let me think...........................Nope sorry my minds gone blank. It must be that dreaded fibrosis fog he hehe.
I hope i haven't offended anyone. That was definitely not my intention. Have to have a laugh or I think I'd be crying a whole lot more. Lots of gentle hugs. XX
Laughing is much more fun takes your mind off your woes
Why do bird noises keep popping into my head, you know the twittering sounds
Hahaha.
hahaha - i'll join - my legs were really bad last night. Okay today - seems to be mainly when I am trying to rest xx
Hi again. My legs seem to be worse when I'm tired or worried. Unfortunately I was both yesterday!!
Today has been better on the 'twitching' front. But I've had awful cramp in my left foot, burning in my right toes and my left bum cheek feels bruised as if I've had a heavy fall - I don't think I have but then again I probably wouldn't remember LOL
Sorry for putting a downer on the day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!!!!
Lots of gentle hugs sent from me to you all.

We have rescue animals as well, and as you will know, contrary to what you see on animal rescue programmes they can take a long time to settle down.
We got a beautiful collie cross last year after losing ours, she was 4, but it turned out not house trained, which was a bit of a shock and has taken some work. She has been worth it as she is beautiful, but we also have cats and this upset the apple cart as well. all good fun! Would be boring without them
It's good to know that they have a lovely home x
Two cats and two dogs here. One dog is rescue dog. She didn't care for kids when we first got her. With 3 under age of 5 at time it took her a min. No information on her at she was a stray. After a good bath and hair cut. She decided that having a home was worth having to put up with kids. She has settled now and is a bit spoiled!
Yeah I know what you mean. Lily was in a right state when she arrived. Needed a good meal, bath and cut. She's really good with Georgia and our grandchildren for which we were/are overjoyed. She's settled in really well. Long may that remain the case!!! XX
Thanks for the lovely reply. Yes they are hard work and yes again they are absolutely worth every nano second it takes. I will always have rescues from now on!!!! I think they are much more loving - almost as if they understand how much we've helped them!!! XXX
So content you can see well taken care of and just a bit spoiled maybe!! As they should be!!
as soon as I saw their photo I said a big "awwwww" they are beautiful good to hear Georgia is on the mend,it is such a worry when they need an op. when our dear old meggi had to have her mammory glands removed she wore a babys vest with poppers underneath so her tum stayed clean when she pottered about in the garden.
as for lily I think she already knows she is with you forever, she will have Georgia to guide her and help her settle I'm sure.
thank you for sharing with us x
They are gorgeous. Looks like they are posing for you haha xx
I have rescued three dogs and dogs are not only rehomed because they are naughty or nasty, sometimes it through other reasons like change in circumstances, work commitments, divorce, lost of job or death so their owners did love them but there were no other course of action they could take. My rescues were marvellous and I still have one that is 10 years old. People get puppies without realising how big, boisterous and expensive they are and they become overwhelmed with everything and just cannt cope and they do the right thing by giving it to a rehoming centre and not just abandoning it on the street so they are then matched up with a new owner who will love it for the rest of its life(hopefully) well done for rescuing and having the patience to introduce your Lily to her new lovely home, I hope that you all have many happy years together.best wishes
Awww they both look delightful, I'm sure they bring you a lot of pleasure 😀😀
I really hope that Georgia recovers really quickly and well from her operation. It sounds like both of them are very lucky to have you as their owner. I'm sure Lily will continue to settle in well and that you will enjoy having her, and with Georgia to guide her, she will end up being fabulous💞💞
The little doglet in my avatar is Poppie who I rescued from a puppy farm - she'd had four litters of pups in five years and was a complete jangling wreck. I took her on not thinking really that it would work out, but with the help of Mr Benjamin, my JR/Yorkie, she has turned out to be such a happy little soul and brings m more joy than I can tell you. I am sure Lily will be th same for you as you sound like a lovely doggy person 😃😃
Sending lots of positive healing vibes, both for you and Georgia 😀😀
Foggy x
Adorable! They look like they are having a really good chat and putting the world to rights - or maybe just discussing their favourite treats or toys?
Beautiful!
beautiful doggies so cute.x
