Had Lidocaine Infusion

So had my lidocaine infusion this morning, this infusion went fine, and now I just ache all over more then usual and tingle all over, my nose and lips are numb. When is it meant to take effect just feel crap and sick.

Have you contacted your physician ... or did you get any follow-up info that told you what you might expect to feel? I would call to ask ... if it's not normal, they could do or give you something to counteract.

I had lidocaine infusions for years and I always felt worse for several days afterwards. I had to stay in bed for at least 2 or 3 days afterwards.

At the beginning (first 3 years I was having them) they did help quite a bit after that, so give it a chance.

They effect different people in different ways, of course. If you're really worried, I would phone the hospital where you had the infusion done.

I do hope you do get some relief soon and that you do find it helpful in the end.
