Hello ☺

Hi everyone. I've had Fibromyalgia since I was 15, and arthritis and SPD (Symphysis Pubis Disfunction) since I had my 3rd child in 1994. We've just moved to Bromley in Kent and I'm in the middle of a major flare after the move. Usually I'm pretty upbeat about stuff; if I can't do something I'll adapt and figure out a way round, or change my perception and stay positive.

The only perception I have to day is of the ceiling lol as I can't sit up! 😕 How do others cope when they're stuck flat on their back? I've dropped my phone onto my face twice while writing this lol and my hands are now killing me. Is there anything else you do in this situation other than sleep or Netflix? Sorry for long moan. Love to all. Jo. xx

Hi Jo

I've been flat on my back all week hahaha

Along with what you said, I read if the brain is working, chat on here and do the odd jigsaw. Crochet is becoming quite popular now too - and not just okd fashionable patchwork blankets, there are all sorts of amazing things to be made. Could be something you could do with your kids too if they are still young - make the latest craze of toys/characters out of crochet 😊 xx My sister in law made vases of flowers as gifts for people and they look amazing xx

I am so genuinely sorry to read that and I sincerely hope that you feel better soon. I am quite lucky as I have an adjustable bed and I never lay flat at any time due to another medical condition. I would hate to be flat on my back for any length of time.

All my hopes and dreams for you
