Sick Pay Money Backdated

More than one year on Esa get £73 week , now I go in health assessment . should get money backdated ?

I am also waiting on results of my esa assessment and like you have been on contributions based for just under a year so would be interested to know if it's backdated. Be nice if it was. I'm sick of being broke!

Why as it taken so long to do a assessment I am on ESA but did not have to have assessment they did it off the book I filled in for one then they put me on support group after the 13 weeks I got you get paid more they paid me up so good luck x

I too have been on assessment rate since last Oct and waiting for an assessment so I too would be interested to know if they backdate from 13th week. I think they are waiting until 12 months is up so they dont have to pay me anymore.

Hi,

I've just checked on the Gov/uk website, and it confirms all monies will be backdated to week 14.

We should only be on be on the assessment rate for 13 weeks.
