It was my youngest daughters 4th birthday yesterday. She's having a little party tomorrow with s few friends and family.
My daughter loves mud, Pirates and minions so I've tried to make a birthday cake that will have her in her element...
I hope she likes it

Yum. Happy Birthday small daughter.
Nothing like making mud pies. I brought various bits of stainless steel kitchen ware from a charity shop. Closed my eyes and had a flowerbed turned into a mud pit, I can just sit in my deckchair and chill while the grandchildren have fun. Hours are spent.
Creating memories for us all hopefully. As I have little energy for the more energic stuff. Works a treat.
That's fab I'm sure she'll love it! Probably won't last long though

That is fantastic, when my eldest girl was small she wanted a fairy castle cake complete with turrets and flags. I was up to one in the morning finishing it off then had the party , exhausting but so worth it to see their faces
I suspect you will have the happiest 4 year old around tomorrow.

I miss making 'special' cakes for my offspring, they're grown and flown.
Not even up to doing Christmas ones now and that's only once a year
