Magnesium citrate is the best form and it helps if yuou have constipation as well. Really good for muscle pain. Other supplements i use are omega 3s for brain function and depression, b50s for depression, milk thistle for constipation and feeling cold, probiotics for gut health and zinc for nausea or appetite.

Thank you trekster22, could I get these all from a chemist or Holland and barrets maybe?

holland and barrets is the best place, try them 1 per week at a time so you can tell whether they work or not.

Many moons ago I use lots of supplements until the occasion came when I was getting low on all of them. Totted up the cost to begin again, never did and didn't feel any different.

Be careful of magnesium, it lowers blood pressure so ensure you're not on the low side already (y)

Hi, I've been trying to figure out what to take as far as vitamins are concerned and the usual ones seem to be D3, magnesium, B bits, omega 3's. I am still looking into the levels to take (everything takes me a long time these days!) so in the mean time I have D3 from the GP and take a multivitamin, calcium and omega 3. If you do happen to find a list anywhere with dosages could you please post the link and I will do the same xx

Hi Keeleybee, I have been raving about magnesium marine on here for about 2 weeks now, I have been taking them for about 7 weeks and feeling so much better, more energy, better sleep and not as sore around my body, except I still have arthritis but that does not seem as bad either, I would say I feel 85% better at the moment. Have a read of the following link collective-evolution.com/20...

You can get them from Holland and Barrett, made by Together, Ocean Pure from natural marine salts

They may be worth a try, you never know!!

Also Epsom salt baths, and Capsaicin lotion can be helpful when you are looking for something to target the pain locally if you see what I mean?

Thanks avnot, baths are my best friend so the salts sounds good to me :-)

I take a Thera tears which is omega 3 and flaxseed for dry eyes (some reason flax seed heals my cracked open sore heals too), vit d, vit b complex and vit 12, thryoid support, natto k enzyme for clotting gene mutation (to prevent blood clots), cranberry to keep from getting uti s. I use to take digestive enzyme because i wasn't digesting food at all and have a hiatal hernia, but just recently switched to probiotics. Feel better. Still have no appetite. I take magnesium every night..helps me sleep and I don't get the foot cramps when Iie down. Hematologist said I shouldn't take everyday. Just when I exercise hard and get Charlie horses. Also, she said to not take turmeric everyday. 2-3 days a week. Strong anti inflammatory. I put sesame oil on my entire body every morning started ayuverdic self care. Cleared up my itchy scalp as I put it on my scalp every morning too. I am also suppose to do ayuverdic foot care by putting feet in Epsom salt and then I rub some sesame oil on again. Dairy free.....lactose free milk because I need calcium. I generally have low blood pressure, and just got tested 120/84. Magnesium not hurting me in that way. But ,again, everyone is different with different symptoms. I also have scarred kidneys and need to watch what I take. I always try things that are natural after reading up on them, and if I have an adverse effect, I stop taking it. Never give up.
