im waiting a bone scan next week and have been took of tramadol as was having no effect . im now taking pregnabalin and co drydadol excuse if wrong spelling. however i have had upset tummy since starting them (fri) and have had vomiting bouts thro nite and today. know i will have to go back to gp as im in agony with back n hip. and need pain relief . does anyone else taking these meds get this effect

Did the vomiting come on straight away or after a few doses. I am only wondering as there seems to be a bug going around and I am wondering whether you catching one just happened to coincide with the start of the tablets? When I first started taking Pregablin and Zapain (Co-codamal 30/500mg) I must admit I felt very spaced out and had a funny sicky feeling although I wasn't sick. This slowly went away and stopped within about 10 days.

Did you stop the Tramadol suddenly and had the other tablets replacing it or were you weaned off the Tramadol as sometimes stopping something like Tramadol especially if you have been on it some time can make you feel quite ill.

Do hope that it is not the tablets as we all know we can do with all the help we can get. Hope the results of teh Bone Scan gives them some knowledge to what is causing your problems. Let us know how you are doing.x

I am so sorry to read that you are having this problem, and as rosewine says it could be a coincidence? I would ring your GP and ask what they feel is the best course of action? I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.

thank you everyone for your replies . i am now feeling better regarding the vomiting etc. took myself off to bed and stayed there. i still havent had a diagnosis from hospital /gp regarding my worsening health. been going round in circles since before xmas. when xrays results came back to gp they suggested that i had osteoporosis ?? but not in/around the hip and spine where im having chronic pain. i do have bad osteoarthritis but the gps at my surgery said they will go down the route of " fibro" after having the bone scan . so im no nearer knowing. still chronic pains . fatigue like youve never known .depression . etc i cant even make a decision regarding which clothes to put on ,( thats if i can get them on) . got my PIP forms to fill in . that should be a laugh NOT ! we will soldier on as we always do . thanks for all your support . much appreciated x
