Hi jellypain
I am so sorry to read that you are experiencing this issue and I genuinely hope that you can find the answers that you are looking for. I am not a doctor but your picture resembles something that I experienced many years ago? It may not be this? But I have pasted you a link to the NHS Choices cache on urticaria M28:
NHS Choices - Urticaria

As I have already said, I am not a doctor, but if you google ''Pictures of Urticaria'' you will see many different pictures with many different kinds of rashes and some do resemble yours. So I really would check this out with your GP and see what they say?
I want to wish you all the best of luck with this.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Hi Jellynpain,
Just wondering if you were menopausal at all as quite a few us ladies have had to put up with this as well. I was put on cetirizine hydrochloride 10mg x 1 a day and everything calmed down so do check with your GP. Ken is right, for me and my other menopausal friends, it did turn out to be urticaria.
Wishing you all the best.
Sorry i cant help with a possible diagnosis, but while waiting to see the doctor try using Vaseline on one small part at first. If there is no reaction try it all over, it should soothe it and stop the skin from drying out.
It was a district nurse who gave me this advise for an allergy rash and have used it a lot since.

Ian, Err deer! Known to Dermatologist
It's not itchy or dry so not typical of hives (Urticaria). Please tell me if know otherwise.

HI, yes this is what I have too, mine is a bit larger and goes very red when I have a flare up, then it stings. Didn't used to hurt though. I have Lupus and Fibromyalgia amongst other things.
