Oh Lesley, so sorry you are having such a bad time of it.

There is a reason the Chronic Fatigue was called Yuppie Flu in the 1980s.

Hope you find help / a solution soon. :-)

Sorry to hear you are having such a bad time of it. I do hope your GP can find a balance of medication that can help you. I am convinced the weather at the moment is not helping as I feel riddled with pain and totally lacking any energy. Be kind to yourself and rest as much as you can. Hope you will be soon feeling a little better. Soft hugs.x

Hi Lesley61

I am so sorry to read of you current difficulties, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to these issues. I was wondering if you are in receipt of PIP (Personal Independence Payment)? This recently started to replace DLA (Disability Living Allowance). If not, it may be worth applying for this also?

I have pasted you the GOV.UK link called How To Claim PIP:

gov.uk/pip/how-to-claim

I want to wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi Lesley

I truely do now what you mean. i have always worked untill december 2012 i got finnished and still find it hard . When I have a good few days i start looking at jobs that is out their my hub an daughters laugh , she's off again , i push my self to do jobs that have been left ttthen bang reality clicks in when im bad again. A few months ago i was put on steroides for a chest infection and felt so good when i went back to gp i told him how good i felt and that i could go back to work if i could stay on them, I had so much enegy he laughed and said unfurtualy that is not possible with in a few days of finnishing them bang bad again with a vengence. All i can say is keep prode and possitive as you have allways worked and sometimes it is hard to except that you carnt work and have to claim benefite's .It was my daughter who had to contact dss as i was to prode and couldnt except. i was not be able to work .

As for the tiedness and the forgetfullnessi ts comes with the fibro and it is like haveing flu only 24 hours a day 7 days week but at least we have this site to have a moan on to people who understand what it is like to live with fibro and its symptoms.

Hope you are feeling better today xx
