Hi been currently signed off work for 6 weeks due to flare up. Ment to be back Tuesday as I don't work Monday's and not sure if I'm ready.
The reason I have been off to begin with is bad back neck and head ache, chest pain and severe body tiredness and fatigue. I work in a nursery and even the smallest thing like feeling a baby their breakfast hurts my hand and fingers. Only you fellow fibro sufferers will get this.
I'm still struggling with the pains but the tiredness and fatigue haven't been any where near as bad as if I was working. I'm just worried it will get worse going back to work? But I also get the longer I'm off the harder it will be to go back.
Just wondered if any of you have been in a similar situation or any thoughts? Friends and family say give it a try but only myself knows how it feels.

Well the first thing you need to do hun is try not to worry because a big trigger of fibro is stress, so try and relax a little, instead of saying you do not think you are ready, try saying you will give it a couple of days, pace yourself, get help from other people in your job if you need to, but try not to worry. If if gets really bad go back and see your GP and question the use of other medications to help keep you in work. But until Tuesday try and chill a bit, have a soak, put some nice music on and just relax xxxxxx
I am so sorry to read of the untenable situation that you have found yourself in, and I genuinely want to wish you all the best of luck. I have not found myself in this sort of position but I can genuinely imagine how difficult this must be for you.
