Hi I have been on amitriptyline for 2 years , it does take a few weeks to stop you feeling tired but it is the only medicine that I can have a good night sleep with . I have not put any weight on

Well done I find the weight gain has been very bad
\about three stone which I am fighting to loose at the moment.
