Joanne love.

I have tight burning ache in the upper outside part of my buttocks. I find that a 1/4 teaspoon of magnesium citrate powder a few times a day really helps this. I get it on an auction web site as my local health store only seems to keep Magnesium Oxide (MO) and that one doesn't do it for me (MO) also gives me a loose stool. The stretches the phisio gave me made me more sore, I persevered, with the stretches for ages thinking the Phisio knew best but just had to give up in the end. My body just seemed to fight against the stretches.

I don't think the Dr's are always right,, and the opinion of one often differs from another.

We just have to find something that works for us, have you tried acupuncture?

The bone that sticks out at the top of my leg (level with the middle of the buttock) also gets very tender at times but the Magnesium don't help this type of pain at all. Just helps the hard burning muscle muscle spasm cramp type pains.

Best Wishes, Ray

Hi joed

I am so sorry to read that you are suffering so much with such severe thigh pain, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue.

I have severe thigh pain due to a compressed sciatic nerve, the pain goes through the bottom of my back and through my pelvis, bottom, thigh and top of leg, on very bad days it will spread down the leg also. I was given Naproxen for this but I have to be very careful how I take these due to my asthma and COPD. I am awaiting another Specialist appointment so i am hoping that I can get something else for the pain as well?

I do have another worry with this, as I have Osteoporosis and if I get a pain too close to the groin area I have to have this checked out in case I have a hip fracture! Not easy being me these days?

I genuinely hope that you find the answers that you so desperately desire and deserve.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken x
